The Manchester Woman’s Club (MWC) 2024-2025 year begins Tuesday, September 17, noon, at the First Parish Chapel. The women in our community are invited to this meeting to consider joining the Club.
The meeting will consist of a luncheon and a presentation by members of the Manchester-by-the-Sea MBTA Zoning Task Force. There is no fee to attend. If you plan to attend, please RSVP to manchesterwomansclub@gmail.com.
MWC is a social club organized 117-years ago and is dedicated to giving back to our community. We founded the VNA in 1910. Since 1965 we provide the funds to keep the Friendship Tree on the Town Green lit, and each year the club awards two scholarships to local high school seniors.
We meet monthly September through May, December and January excluded, for a brief business meeting, luncheon, and a program. Time commitments are minimal. Consider making time in your busy schedule to join. The pay-back in community spirit and being part of a long-standing organization are well-worth the effort.
