As a Veteran’s day tradition, veterans visited the schools to explain the day to various classrooms of pupils. Here the kindergartners at MMES greet Legion Chaplain Bruce Heisey for a photo opportunity. The students colored posters to be placed on the tables during the service at the Legion on the 11th. On Veteran’s Day American flags that have done their duty are presented for burning to the Board members of the Legion. Here scouts salute as they lay out the flags to be disposed of.
