Fashion and philanthropy shared the spotlight earlier this month when more than 400 people packed The Cut in Gloucester for The Open Door’s third annual Thrift the Runway fashion show.

A picture-perfect summer evening drew a crowd to the Conomo Point Boathouse Friday for the Art Show on Conomo, a two-day exhibition and sale featuring paintings, prints, sculpture and photography by Cape Ann artists. 

The Rockport Celtic Festival returns to the Shalin Liu Performance Center Sept. 10-13, bringing more than two dozen musicians together for four days of concerts, collaborations, storytelling—and a little dancing.
