Despite the bitter cold, the Manchester by the Sea Fire Department conducted cold water training in the harbor last week. The crew had its engine, ladder and ambulance at the park and a handful of firefighters on the ice and swimming in the harbor. It was a sunny Saturday, but it was also a very cold Saturday. Yikes!
