"Paige Farrell : Be Light ! | It’s Christmas," a celebration of art in clay will be on view for one weekend only —December 14th and 15th — at Jane Deering Gallery in Gloucester.
The event is happening in conjunction with Gloucester’s Holiday Fair.
Hand-built and wheel-thrown, custom glazed and hi-fired, Farrell describes her work
as embodying a quiet simplicity. The Gloucester-based artist uses the simple element of clay, a mineral-rich erosion of the earth’s crust over thousands of years. Farrell received her B.A. in French Language and Literature from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She studied at Sorbonne University, Paris, France; as well as The School of The Museum of Fine Arts, Tufts University.
