A curious slice of local pride took place this week as Manchester’s Chris Olney and his wife, Jane, greeted well-wishers at their home Monday for a special airing of PBS’ Antiques Roadshow, the national show that draws people with antique finds and gems to meet appraisers who let them know if their “heirlooms” are priceless artifacts, or duds.
