Clearing Up Confusion on Tarr, Supporting Delisio

Posted

To the Editor,

As I’ve discussed the upcoming Cape Ann State Representative election on March 31 with local residents, I found that some people mistakenly thought Christina Delisio was running against Senator Bruce Tarr.  She is not.  Christina Delisio is running against Dru Tarr, not Bruce Tarr. Dru Tarr himself stated in a Gloucester Daily Times article that he is not related to Senator Bruce Tarr.
I am proud to endorse Christina Delisio for our next State Representative.
Christina supports the Audit exactly as written and as approved by 72% of Massachusetts voters. She taught civics in the Lynn Public Schools, built and ran an ethical and profitable environmental business, served on the Manchester Planning Board for 10 years, and is a dedicated attorney with degrees from UMass Lowell and New England Law Boston.
She has also been deeply involved in Cape Ann civic life, including moderating debates in Gloucester and speaking to citizen groups in Rockport, Gloucester, and Manchester about the consequences of the MBTA Communities Act and Chapter 3A.
In my view, Christina Delisio is the most qualified candidate in this race.
Please remember to vote for Christina Delisio on March 31.  To learn more or help the campaign, visit christinadelisio.com.
