Gloucester-based Beauport Financial Services this week announced two additions to its firm, including financial services professional Kate Glidden and administrative assistant Paula Sullivan-Reggio.

In August, Beauport added a Financial Advisor, Kate Glidden, to its organization.  Kate has over 23 years of experience in the financial and retirement planning industry.  She holds her Series 7, 63 and 65 registrations with FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) and well as her Massachusetts Life, Accident and Health Insurance Licenses.  In addition to her registrations, she has earned multiple certifications which include the CFP® professional (Certified Financial Planner), RMA® (Retirement Management Advisor) and NSSA® (National Social Security Advisor).

“Creating a financial plan from the beginning, nurturing it, and ultimately seeing the plan in action is what motivates me every day,” she said.  “Transitioning to Beauport will allow me to continue to serve my clients, while providing the latest technology, advanced market research, and access to planning tools that one needs from their financial services firm. I know that I need a partner that shares my commitment to clients- the Beauport Team is that partner.”

In addition to Kate, Paula Sullivan-Reggio joined the team recently, having 25 years of experience in management, administration and customer service.  Her role with the firm is Executive and Administrative Assistant.  Her duties include scheduling, client communication and serving as an Executive Assistant to the advisors.

“It is refreshing to be part of the company culture and mission which is a one team approach while respecting individuality that lends way to achieving outstanding results.” Sullivan said.

Paula previously worked at EBSCO, in Ipswich MA at their headquarters.  EBSCO is a major provider of library technology, e-books and clinical decision solutions for universities, colleges, hospitals, corporations, government, K12 schools and public libraries worldwide. She was with the research company for three years and served as an administrative assistant.

Beauport Financial was established in 1985 by its founding partner, David McKechnie. In 1997, managing partner, Derek Reed teamed up with McKechnie and since then, they have grown significantly in staff and clients.  The organization now has a team of 11 professionals, serving many families and businesses.  The firm looks forward to continued growth and is confident their two new additions share the same client, community and growth-minded values.
